@holly @phooky This is why leaving something to market to 'self-regulate' does not work. Lawmakers should mandate a standardized tip for these adapters, so that if it has the same DC wattage step down, it could be used on any device requiring this same wattage. This is creating a monumental e-waste!
I found one great example of re-usage: my two commercial grade StarTech usb 3.1 hubs; they can be powered by wire connectors (no pin) in 15-22V range. Almost any laptop adapter will do! I love them!
